THE MYSTERIOUS DAN TIEN TAO
“In winter, you will never feel cold and in summer, you will never feel hot”. Practice this ancient Tao after waking up or before sleeping, while still in bed and, you have to be naked. Enjoy!
1. Set: “Three knocks of the heavenly drum and seven knocks of the holy bell” Push the under side of the tongue all the way upwards. Now pull it down suddenly together with the lower jaw. It produces a sound from the ‘vacuum effect' and it will get louder as you improve this with some practice. Do it three times. Hit very gently both ears at the same time with both palms. The palms are soft and relaxed, forming a little bowl. The mouth is totally opened and we exhale softly, and continuously. Do this seven times, while completely exhaling. 2. Set: “Two military regiments march on the mountain” From now on through the entire exercise, before starting each set , rub both palms for a while until they feel hot, pulsating with energy. The only exception is Section 3, set 2. With the tips of both hands tap gently and quickly on your head, until you feel the heat . Start at the forehead and move slowly backwards, all the way down to the neck. Do it also sideways down to the ears, starting at the top of the head. 3. Set: “Ten officers defend the five closed gates” Close the eyes and mouth, inhale fully and hold your breath (just during this third set please!). Strike with all ten fingers from the hairline down the face and over the throat. Do it until you feel the heat. 4. Set: “The green dragon flies out in all directions” Push out your tongue as much as you can and as straight as you can. Now make complete circles, as round as possible, with the tongue as much extended as you can. 24 times in both directions. Swallow the saliva; it's good for you.
1. Set: “Five tigers coming from the mountain and running 36 circles” Massage firmly with the left hand down the side of the right arm, starting from the shoulder all the way to the finger tips. Do it 36 times. And then again on the left arm with your right hand. 2. Set: “Sun and moon run nine circles with the ten heavenly poles” Massage the right chest with your left hand. First nine times clockwise, then ten times anti clockwise. And then the same way on the left chest with your right hand. 3. Set: “Twelve reasons support the heat in the oven” Massage the stomach with the fingers of both hands. Start from the center, both ring fingers on the navel, and strike simultaneously to both sides. Do it twelve times. 4. Set: “East and West, two cities are meeting four villages” Massage the lower stomach with both hands, without using the thumbs. Again start at the center, both pointing fingers just below the navel, and strike simultaneously to both sides. Do it until you feel the heat.
1. Set: “The moving of three sheep to the southern and northern border” Massage with the three middle fingers of both hands downwards until you reach the genitals. This is the remaining area which wasn't covered by the previous two sets. Start again at the center, strike downwards. Then do it everywhere on both sides, always downwards, moving towards the left and the right. Until you feel the heat. 2. Set: “Four soldiers united to attack the end of the center” Make two fists; bring the knuckles together. Now extend the middle finger and the ring finger of each hand, keeping the other fingers clenched. When the fingernails are touching (ring to ring, middle to middle), and you look at them from the top (the finger-tips), you will see a square made up of the four finger-tips. Move this ‘square', behind your back, to the very beginning of your spine. Push up very gently several times until you feel the heat. 3. Set: “The heavenly poles are running thirty-six circles on the left and on the right” Strike firmly with the right hand down on the side of the right leg, starting from the hip all the way down over the ankle. Do it 36 times. And then again on the left leg with your left hand. Until you feel the heat. 4. Set: “Yin and Yang meet 108 times” Massage the underside of the left foot with the lower palm of the right hand. Strike from the heel until you reach the toes. Do it 108 times. And finally, do the same on your right foot with your left hand.
And remember that with regular practice, you will improve the results. After doing it a few times you will know how it's done. It takes about fifteen to twenty minutes, depending on whether you are in a hurry or not. Take your time and use it to wake up slowly and nicely - And you're ready for another exciting and happy day |
